Yamhill County Hikes

Champoeg Park in NewbergChampoeg is a former town in the U.S. state of Oregon. Now a ghost town, it was an important settlement in the Willamette Valley in the early 1840s. Located halfway between Oregon City and Salem, it was the site of the first provisional government of the Oregon Country.

Rogers Landing: Newberg Boat Launch at the Willamette River

Airport Park in McMinnville-Simple easy hike for the kids with minimal inclines for kids featuring the Majical Mushrooms

Miller Woods in McMinnville- There are several hikes to choose from. The kids enjoy all the nature and creatures to play with.

Evergreen Museums- They have an easy paved trail all around the grounds.This is a simple hike/walk for the kids. 

Rotary Nature Reserve-McMinnville  This is a favorite in town hike. This is dog friendly with boardwalks and marsh lands. Kids love the Rainbow tree there. Nice bathrooms are in the parking lot on Westside Rd.

Erratic Rock near McMinnville towards Sheridan off hwy 18-  Outside of Mac off hwy 18, Simple hike with Beautiful views.

Trails by the Abby outside Lafayette:  

The public is welcome to walk out here in Lafayette. They have shrines all around the hikes that kids enjoy checking out. There are a lot of inclines that kids don't really care for.
